  We have learned that the following Epson printers may show you a firmware update message. Please just ignore it since the new version firmware is to prevent the third party 702XL or 302XL ink cartridge and will render aftermarket cartridges useless.

  Have upgraded the firmware? 
  There will be an error "Cartridge Problem" when install our cartridges if your printer has been upgraded. If you upgraded the firmware, please fill in the “Product upgrade support form”. Our support team will contact you and get a resolution to you base on your require within a business day.

  How to ignore the firmware update. 
  Upgrade firmware will not improve the printer’s performance, the only feature is to prevent you from using cost-effective ink cartridges. Please follow the steps below to ignore the firmware update:

  - You may receive a “update available” message from your printer asking you to install the updated firmware, please select the “NO” to bypass the update.

  Please do not be worried as our company provides 24-month warranty for the product. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you but we are here to solve all your problems, because your trust and satisfaction is our highest priority.
